Headlines

I am currently trying to adapt some chosen headlines by conveying the headlines subject with use of visual description/a visual pun. Therefore using typography or altered type to do this.

Here are some I've been experimenting with/attempting to convey:

 

 

I think that some work better than others, partly because the concept itself is a better interpretation of the headline/a better use of typography. Some I've simply just played with and stumbled across an idea others are relatively weak and don't really convey the headline as I've struggled for design ideas, but practise makes perfect so if any other ideas strike me I'll be sure to put them to paper.
