We were given a number of briefs to choose from and I chose 'Something for Everyone'. The task was to create a platform where the young and old were brought together in order to bridge the generation gap.
The idea being that the young could benefit from the wisdom of the old and the old could be aided or kept company by the young.
My solution was 5Photo, a photo sharing application and organisation that brought people together through image. Specifically sharing five photos of the most significant events in your life.
An example of this could be a veteran of the Second World War sharing a photo with a veteran of the Iraq or Afghanistan or a still serving soldier. This establishes a connection which can be built upon and further strengthened.
Additionally there would be social events based in communities to integrate other members into 5Photo and share their photos and experiences.
Ulitmately the concept of 5Photo was not particularly strong nor the execution but I was happy with the logo I created for it.
