Typoglyphic

Typoglyphic is an exercise in typographic experimentation.

It combines research into the origins of the alphabet and type structure whilst adding architectural, symbolic and art deco influences into its design.

This is a personal project mixing the interests of designer into type styles and testing legibility and general type convention. Typoglyphic has been influenced by existing celebrated and sometimes controversial designers such as Neville Brody, who co-created FUSE.

Typoglyphic contains: a book, which details the project research and progress; 3 promotional posters that displays the type and examples of its use; and a set of stencils, which you can use to create words in 2 Typoglyphic typefaces.

This was my final project for my MA.
